Burlington County RSVP is proud to announce three health related programs, for which we are recruiting volunteers. Millions of adults live with one or more chronic health conditions. Our programs help people and their caregivers manage their symptoms, improve their quality of life, and reduce healthcare costs. Mutual support and success builds participants’ confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active and fulfilling lives.

The Clare Estate

The Clare Estate offers top quality senior living on all care levels. Our senior living services and wellness care include a variety of options for all seniors, whether they choose independent living, assisted living, enhanced care, or memory care services. We are not a traditional care facility; we are a home specialized in the care and support of your loved one.

New Jersey Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Volunteer Advocate Program

New Jersey Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Volunteer Advocate Program is seeking volunteers to help promote the health, safety, and welfare of residents who live in nursing homes. Volunteer Advocates help protect residents’ rights and ensure quality of care by making regular visits to local nursing homes; they take on a non-adversarial role to help resolve residents’ concerns as close to the bedside as possible. It Takes A Village

It Takes A Village is a caring, all volunteer organization dedicated to helping seniors, disabled of any age and returning vets in the following ways :Shop for groceries ( with or without the client, run errands, visit clients, call and just chat, drive clients to doctors and rehab (when planned ahead ), read to the visually impaired. The areas we cover presently, in Burlington County are : Cinnaminson, Delran, Hainesport, Maple Shade, Moorestown, Mount Laurel . There are no charges for our services but we do ask, if possible for a $ 20 donation ( tax deductible ) once a YEAR !

Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) of Southern New Jersey

Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Service (JFCS) of Southern New Jersey is dedicated to helping people successfully meet the challenges of daily life. JFCS is in need of volunteers to assist with the Kosher Meals on Wheels Program. Volunteers will deliver meals on a weekly basis to homebound adults many of them Holocaust survivors. There will be opportunities to hear the stories of survivors while providing them with a nutritious meal. If you have a vehicle and are willing to work with seniors, we want to hear from you!

Compassus Hospice

Compassus Hospice is seeking kind-hearted and compassionate volunteers in Burlington County, New Jersey to support and assist individuals and their loved ones, at end of life. Understanding that the gift of time and attention given to another is a personal reward like no other, Life Choice Hospice offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities that can fit anyone’s personality and schedule. Administrative, Complementary Therapy, Bereavement, Caregiver Relief and Compassionate Companions are some examples of volunteer opportunities available.

Holy Redeemer Hospice

Holy Redeemer Hospice is in need of caring volunteers.  We offer a faith-based program with a holistic approach to healing and caring for the total person beyond their healthcare needs.  Volunteer opportunities include clerical work to support hospice staff, or patient visits and companionship to support hospice patients and their families.  Patient visits can be in the home, or in a nursing home or assisted living community.  No personal care required.  Training is provided.  Please call Rebecca Boby at 856-939-9000 x 31520 or email
