available for all to use. Volunteers are active in all aspects of Trail work, from basic maintenance to major projects, such as building bridges and shelters and relocating sections of the A.T.

Bayshore Discovery Project & Schooner A.J. Meerwald

Bayshore Center at Bivalve, operator of NJ's Tall Ship A.J. Meerwald, has year-round volunteer opportunities at its Bayshore Center in Bivalve NJ (southern Cumberland County). Volunteers help in the museum, cafe and gift shop, at festivals and special events, and assist with publicity, maintenance, fund-raising and more. Volunteers are also needed to help sail or teach on board the schooner A.J. Meerwald from April through October. Shipboard Volunteer Training, required only for those who want to sail, begins in the Spring. Call or email to register.
