National Society of Colonial Dames of America (NSCDA-NJ)

The National Society of Colonial Dames of America in the State of New Jersey (NSCDA-NJ) operates two museums: Peachfield, a restored farmhouse in Westampton, and an old schoolhouse in Mount Holly.  Volunteers conduct seasonal tours at Peachfield and at the schoolhouse by appointment.  Volunteers are invited to participate in elementary school living history programs utilizing both sites.  Call 609-267-6996.

Shipman Mansion Foundation

Shipman Mansion Foundation - Non-profit focused on preservation of an 1869 home on the banks of the Delaware River in Edgewater Park is looking for someone with knowledge of QuickBooks and non-profit accounting to help them set up their books and records. The Shipman Mansion Foundation recently received a $12,000 grant from the 1772 Foundation and a financial system has to be set up to track the grant, expenses and donations. Kaleidoscope Therapeutic Riding Program,  Flora Lea Farm,  21 Branin Road, Medford, NJ 08055 - Help a child with special needs get more out of life! Flexible schedule! Great Exercise! Must be at least 12 years of age. Become a Volunteer! To help a child with special needs get more out of life and achieve more is an incredibly rewarding service. Our schedule is flexible and you don't have to commit to the same time every week. Previous horse handling experience is helpful but not necessary.

Pinelands Institute for Natural & Environmental Studies (P.I.N.E.S.),

Pinelands Institute for Natural & Environmental Studies (P.I.N.E.S.), at Whitesbog Village in Browns Mills is a program of Rowan College which provides hands-on science and social studies field trips for school groups and adults. Volunteers needed weekdays to assist students with nature, science & history programs as well as clerical and office work. Riverfront Historical Society

Riverfront Historical Society is dedicated to the proud history of Beverly, Delanco, and Edgewater Park. It maintains a historic collection in the 1806 Cooper Town Meeting House in Edgewater Park.
