Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of Mercer and Burlington Counties is currently recruiting volunteers for Summer and Fall training sessions to advocate for the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. CASA and its volunteers speak for children in court, serve as fact finders for the family court judges and safeguard the interests of the children while they are in the foster care system.

Parents Anonymous Parent Stressline/Family Helpline Volunteer

Parents Inc., a statewide family strengthening agency whose office located in Trenton, is a volunteer-based organization which provides free services to parents throughout New Jersey.  Several programs are open to volunteers interested in child abuse prevention: 24-hour Family Helpline Volunteer, Parent Support Group and HOPES Group Facilitators and Office Volunteers.  Training is free and includes comprehensive materials, support and supervision.  Contact Laurie Komjati, Director of Operations at 609-585-7666 -  lkomjati
