Moorestown Visiting Nurses and Hospice has many diverse and meaningful opportunities for volunteers to make a real difference in their community.  Opportunities include; direct patient care in our Hospice and Palliative Care Programs, Office Support, Flu Shot Clinics, Bereavement, Special Events, Community Health Awareness, and more! Compassionate Care Hospice

Compassionate Care Hospice is a community based program that provides end of life care to patients and their loved ones. Our volunteers(16+) are a very special part of our program . . .  our volunteers provide support thru companionship, running errands, respite and more . . .  we presently recruiting for volunteers in the Burlington County area.  All training and support is provided. Compassus Hospice

Compassus Hospice is seeking kind-hearted and compassionate volunteers in Burlington County, New Jersey to support and assist individuals and their loved ones, at end of life. Understanding that the gift of time and attention given to another is a personal reward like no other, Life Choice Hospice offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities that can fit anyone’s personality and schedule. Administrative, Complementary Therapy, Bereavement, Caregiver Relief and Compassionate Companions are some examples of volunteer opportunities available.

Holy Redeemer Hospice

Holy Redeemer Hospice is in need of caring volunteers.  We offer a faith-based program with a holistic approach to healing and caring for the total person beyond their healthcare needs.  Volunteer opportunities include clerical work to support hospice staff, or patient visits and companionship to support hospice patients and their families.  Patient visits can be in the home, or in a nursing home or assisted living community.  No personal care required.  Training is provided.  Please call Jane Elliot at 856-939-9000 x 31520 or email

Lighthouse Hospice

Lighthouse Hospice seeks Volunteers for Direct Patient visitation. No healthcare experience necessary, training provided. Volunteers visit patients for companionship, you might read to them, write letters for them, life review. We also have poetry readings in facilities or play music at the bedside. Acacia Hospice

Acacia Hospice is looking for caring volunteers to provide companionship to our patients and respite for their loved ones. Also, looking for veterans who would like to visit with fellow veterans to offer support and honor their service. Acacia Hospice is available to all persons residing in the Burlington County area. Opportunities for volunteers include patient visits, office support, Bereavement support, and community education. We offer complete training.
