Battleship New Jersey Memorial & Museum

Battleship New Jersey Memorial & Museum needs volunteer tour guides (18+) for weekend, weekday, and evening events.  Tour guides lead individual and group tours, work with veteran and youth groups, chaperone overnight encampments, and serve as guest lecturers throughout the tri-state area.  Also, restoration and clerical support opportunities.  No previous military experience required.

Sunshine Foundation (Local Chapters)


Sunshine Foundation (Local Chapters) is looking for Volunteers.  The Sunshine Foundation grants wishes and dreams for terminally and chronically ill and abused children.  All ages are welcome. The Tender, Inc.

The Tender, Inc. located in Mt. Laurel an organization serving persons with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia in Burlington County, volunteers to work directly with clients in the day center, helping with games, meals and other activities.  Volunteers receive training and orientation.  Day center volunteers are asked to commit to the same day each week.  To volunteer or for more information, please contact The Tender, Inc.

Tuckerton Seaport

The Tuckerton Seaport, a project of the Barnegat Bay Decoy and Baymen's Museum, is dedicated to preserving, presenting and interpreting the rich maritime history, artistry, heritage and environment of the Jersey Shore and the unique contributions of its’ baymen.  Volunteer opportunities include: greeter, program interpreter, guide, special demonstrator (expertise in various crafts, art forms and performances), boatworks (assist master boat builders), clerical and administrative, curatorial, gift shop, groundskeeper, maintenance, membership and special events.

    Newborns in Need - Serving all God’s Children - a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity. Provides: provides essential baby items for the economically disadvantaged. We provide customized clothing and items for premature babies. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP? Donate baby items. (Gently used items accepted up to 12 months, call for pick-up) • Have a diaper drive or baby shower. • Volunteer to knit, crochet, sew, quilt or package store-bought items. • Make a financial donation.• Join us at a meeting listed below.     Acacia Hospice is a small non-profit end of life care organization located in Burlington County and serving patients and their families across the region. Our volunteers are treasured members of our hospice family and we are incredibly grateful for the love and support they bring to our work. We are always looking for community members who want to take part in the care we provide and there are many ways to do so. We are on the lookout for Patient & Family Support Volunteers to serve as companions to patients and their families, Administrative Support Volunteers to help with a number of office and organizational projects, Pet Therapy Volunteers who would like to bring their certified animals to brighten our patients’ lives, Music Therapy Volunteers to play and sing with those we serve, and Veteran Volunteers who want to support other veterans who are receiving end-of-life care Additionally, we are always looking for crafty folk who like to sew, crochet, and knit to help make quilts and blankets for our patients.
