    Willingboro Emergency Squad is seeking volunteers, age 18 years and over, to maintain our tradition of serving Willingboro Township and surrounding communities.  We provide free, diverse, medical and rescue training, tuition assistance, networking opportunities with professionals such as police departments, fire departments, health care professionals and more.  We promise unique life experiences that few other fields can offer.   • Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge

    Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge sits on 171 wooded acres on the edge of the New Jersey Pinelands. The Refuge includes the Elizabeth Woodford Nature Center, an outdoor housing area with more than 60 native residents, and a wildlife rehabilitation hospital that rehabilitates orphaned and injured wildlife for release. The overall mission of the Refuge is to serve as a community resource on the importance of protecting and enhancing healthy ecosystems for all. Volunteers are needed for office work, fundraising, wildlife rehabilitation, grounds-keeping & maintenance, and educational programs.   • Githens Center Burlington County Cerebral Palsy Association

    Githens Center (Burlington County Cerebral Palsy Association) in Mount Holly seeks volunteers (14+) to provide recreation, entertainment, companionship and client care, for children and adults with physical and other types of disabilities.  Volunteers are also needed for fund raising, special and seasonal events, computers, and office support. Center hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and two Saturdays a month between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.   • Burlington County Division of Cultural and Tourism

  • State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)

    State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) is currently looking for 55+ aged volunteers interested in joining the program and willing to council via the telephone. SHIP provides free, objective, confidential  help to people with Medicare who have problems with, or questions about Medicare, Medigap, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Part D Drug Plans and Long Term Care Insurance.  SHIP is a statewide program sponsored by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and sponsored by New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services.   • Family Success Center of Burlington County

    Family Success Center of Burlington County (a resource service of  Legacy Treatment Center )  strengthens families and empowers individuals to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to raise healthy and happy children. Our staff  helps  individuals, couples and children in Burlington County by offering support and assistance to help build healthy relationships and stable lives. The Family Success Center offers community assistance, family activities, child and teen programs and community support programs. Volunteers are needed for our Parent Advisory Board, Mentoring Moms/Mentoring Dads Program and Senior Outreach Programs. Also, The Family Success Center of Burlington County needs adult volunteers to mentor parents in Burlington County. You do not have to be a parent to mentor, just patient, kind and a good listener. Mentors meet with a mother or father in their community twice per month to provide encouragement and support.
