Urban Airshed Reforestation Program (UARP)

Urban Airshed Reforestation Program (UARP) was started by The NJ Tree Foundation in Camden, NJ in 2002. The mission of the UARP is to improve air and water quality in the city of Camden while empowering residents to create positive changes in their own communities. Over the past eight years, we have hand-planted thousands of trees with Camden residents, schools, churches, and non-profits. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome.  Wear sturdy shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty! The New Jersey Tree Foundation will provide tools and gloves for the tree planting days.  All tree planting projects will be supervised by the New Jersey Tree Foundation staff. Please see our website for volunteer information: http://njtreefoundation.org/volunteer/volunteer-opportunities-in-camden/

If you are interested in registering as a volunteer or volunteer group, please contact Jessica Franzini, Program Director – jfranzini.njtf@gmail.com or 856-287-4488 – njtrees.org
