Life Ties, Inc. - T.I.L.T. (Teenage Independent Living Training) Mentoring Services

Life Ties, Inc. is proud to announce the launching of a new component of itd  program, T.I.L.T. (Teenage Independent Living Training) Mentoring services.  This program targets youth both males and females between the ages of 14-21, that are involved with DCPP (Department of Child Protection and Permanency) and CSOC (Children’s System of Care).  Youth are matched with mentors who provide guidance, builds trust, and models positive behavior.  Mentors understand his/her role in the life of a mentee and can help build the youth’s character by developing positive long-lasting relationships. The mentor will engage in building a nurturing relationship with youth through social activities such as: ð Job Shadowing ð Exploring Post-secondary institutions ðParticipating in recreational activities ðExploring career paths ðOpportunities to participate in volunteer activities ð Mentoring youth through places of worship.
