VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! Saturday October 7th 2017 Do you need to earn Service Hours? Do you love books and want to have some fun? We have a variety of opportunities no matter how much time you have to spare. Whether it’s just you, your whole family or a group, everyone is welcome!! About the Book Festival: Book lovers of all ages. Stroll m ore than six blocks of Haddon Avenue filled with authors/speakers for adults and children, as well as booksellers, storytellers, poetry readings, workshops, exhibitors, kid-friendly activities, and entertainment for all ages. This award-winning festival is the longest-running, largest literary event in the Delaware Valley. To Volunteer E-mail VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! To help us get ready for the book Festival on Saturday October 7th If you are looking to volunteer to earn hours or simply to have fun then the Collingswood Book Festival is the perfect volunteer group. We have a variety of opportunities no matter how much time you have to spare. Below are just a few of the opportunities we have open: Funding/Research Team—Research grant opportunities/sponsor possibilities to help fund the event Publicity—Promoting authors on social media, Distributing flyers and brochures, Writing short feature articles Media—Photographers and Videographers on the Day of the Event Author Advocate—Promote a designated author and become their personal assistant for the day Tent MC—Announce authors and drum up crowd. Children’s Assistant—Help with events in the Children’s Loompaland Set Up Team— 6:30am—10:00 am Day of the Event Dismantle Team—4:00 pm—5:30 pm Day of the Event Hospitality—Help set up and monitor the hospitality room the day of the event.
