The Burlington County Library System Foundation is looking for a volunteer to devote approximately 15 hours/week for a variety of clerical and marketing-related duties. The volunteer will aid the Marketing Committee in the areas of fundraising and publicity. The primary task will be assisting the Marketing Committee in organizing a large scale fundraising event to be held at the County Library in Westampton, NJ in December 2017. The volunteer will assist in coordinating vendors, advertising, managing social media, sending out invitations and related correspondence. Working knowledge and capability in the areas or Word, Excel and QuickBooks is preferred. Ease of maneuvering social media is desirable. Some accounting and administrative work is also needed. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, creative and has good organizational and writing skills. The location of the volunteer opportunity is primarily at the County Library in Westampton, NJ but transportation is necessary for periodic off-site meetings at branch libraries within Burlington County.
